Winter… Where art thou?

It is almost December. We should have had snow for a while now… And if not necessarily snow – we should have had a few days with some ice and cold weather. That’s Norway. That’s the way it’s supposed to be here during the winter.

However, the situation is quite different. We have not seen one single snow flake yet. We have seen a lot of rain though. The temperatures has been around +10 celsius. That’s very warm considering the time of year if is here. Normally the temperatures should have been well below 0 celsius.

So what’s going on? Is this global warming in effect?
I have no idea. However, my snowboard is looking mighty bored nowadays…

So join me and hope for some snow!

Not much for snow here on the other side of the pond either. Might have to break out and do some watering of the tress by the weekend if nothing shows up soon…

Be careful though! The trees might get the wrong idea, and might start thinking that it’s spring already!

They say we might get 4-8″ inches (10-20cm) of snow in the city tonight so here is hoping!

Here in Indiana it’s been oddly warm, too. I haven’t been complaining, though. Walking around in snow isn’t too fun. (Actually, I think it might be better than rain, though.)

Today we had our first biggish snow! It was raining when I went in to get lunch, and when I came out of the building huge snowflakes were falling.

I hope you get to snowboard soon. :)

Walking around in the snow is definitely better than walking around in the rain! :-) You’re lucky, I wish I could have seen some snowflakes as well. Here in Norway the winter time is really dark and the snow kinda light up our days.

      Thanks for your comment.
